Concert Schedule
The Ocean State Summer Pops Orchestra’s concert season begins in June and ends at Labor Day. The Orchestra will present one private, and three public performances during the 2011 season.
The orchestra’s repertoire includes a broad variety of light classical pieces, as well as movie music, show tunes, marches, and other pops-style selections.
Our performance locations are varied, and have included city, town, and corporate-sponsored events, churches, private concerts, retirement facilities, fireworks displays, and other venues.
Outdoor concerts are normally sponsored by a host organization, and are normally free to the public. Fees for performances will depend upon the length of the concert, the setting, and the need for external lighting and amplification.
In some cases, a venue may solicit donations for the benefit of the host organization and the Orchestra.
